The Gothenburg Global Biodiversity Centre (GGBC) Biodiversity Lecture is back in its second year! This year we are excited to present Marc Abrahams, founder of the whimsical IgNobel Prizes, together with Prof. Susanne Åkesson of Lund University who won the IgNobel prize in biology in 2016. They will present the silly side of biodiversity research.
IgNobel winners have published research that first make you laugh, then make you think. Join us for this afternoon lecture with crazy stories of science that may not always see the spotlight, but show how outside-the-box biodiversity research can still teach us important lessons about the world around us.
